This is the Refund Policy for 2BFT Academy (2bft.in), operated by 2 Boys From Town ("2BFT," "we," "us," or "our"). We're Nav and Sujal, and we want to be transparent about how refunds work for each of our offerings.
We understand that things don't always work out. This policy explains your refund rights for each service we offer — the monthly Academy plan, the lifetime Academy plan (which includes a Stashed tech bag), and the Claude Code setup service for businesses. Please read this carefully before making a purchase.
By purchasing any of our services, you agree to the refund terms described in this policy. This Refund Policy is part of and subject to our Terms of Service.
1. Overview of Our Products and Services
Before diving into refund specifics, here's a quick reminder of what we offer:

The Skill Library is free and involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund. The refund terms below apply to the five paid offerings.
2. Monthly Academy Plan (₹499/month) — Refund Terms
2.1 Cancellation at Any Time
You can cancel your monthly Academy subscription at any time. There is no cancellation fee or penalty. You can cancel through your account settings on 2bft.in or by emailing us at [email protected].
2.2 No Refund for Current Billing Period
When you cancel your monthly plan, no refund will be issued for the current billing period. You have already paid for the month, and you will retain full access to the Academy curriculum until the end of that billing period.
For example: If your billing date is the 5th of each month and you cancel on the 20th, you will retain access until the 5th of the following month. No partial refund will be issued for the remaining days.
2.3 Access After Cancellation
After cancellation:
- You retain access to the Academy curriculum until the end of your current billing period.
- Once the billing period ends, your access to Academy content will be revoked.
- You will still have access to the free Skill Library (746 AI skills) — that never goes away.
- Your account and any progress data will be retained for 90 days in case you decide to resubscribe. After 90 days, you can request account deletion.
2.4 Automatic Renewal
The monthly plan renews automatically. If you do not cancel before the renewal date, you will be charged for the next month. We send a reminder email 3 days before each renewal. If you miss the renewal and are charged, please contact us within 48 hours and we will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis.
2.5 Failed Payment
If a recurring payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over a 7-day period. If all attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended. You can reactivate by updating your payment information. No refund situation arises from failed payments, as no charge was successfully made.
3. Lifetime Academy Plan (₹4,999) — Refund Terms
3.1 What's Included
The lifetime plan (₹4,999) includes:
- Lifetime access to the full Academy curriculum
- A Stashed tech bag — a physical product shipped to your address in India
Because this plan includes a physical product, the refund terms are tied to the shipping status of the Stashed bag.
3.2 The 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
We offer a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund of the ₹4,999 lifetime plan payment, provided the Stashed tech bag has not yet been shipped.
To be eligible for a refund under the cooling-off period:
- Your request must be received within 14 calendar days of the purchase date.
- The Stashed tech bag must not have been dispatched from our warehouse. We will check the shipping status at the time of your request.
- If the bag has already been dispatched within that 14-day window, the refund will not apply (see Section 3.3).
3.3 Once the Bag Is Shipped — No Refund
Once the Stashed tech bag has been dispatched (handed over to the shipping carrier), no refund will be issued for the lifetime plan, even within the 14-day cooling-off window. This is because:
- The physical product has entered the logistics chain and incurs shipping costs that cannot be recovered.
- You have also been granted immediate access to the Academy curriculum.
The dispatch date is the date the shipping label is created and the package is handed to the carrier, not the date it arrives at your address.
3.4 Bag Delivery Issues
If there are issues with the delivery of the Stashed tech bag:
- Damaged in transit: If your bag arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will ship a replacement at no additional cost.
- Lost in transit: If your bag does not arrive within 21 business days of dispatch and tracking shows it as lost, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost.
- Wrong address provided: If you provided an incorrect address and the bag is returned to us, we will reship to the correct address for a shipping fee of ₹199. If the bag is lost due to an incorrect address and cannot be recovered, we will ship a replacement for a fee of ₹499.
- Refused delivery: If you refuse delivery of the bag, you will not be eligible for a refund of the lifetime plan. The bag will be returned to us and no replacement will be shipped.
3.5 Defective Bag
If the Stashed tech bag you receive is defective (manufacturing defect, not damage from normal use), contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and a description of the defect. We will provide a replacement bag at no additional cost.
3.6 Lifetime Access Clarification
"Lifetime access" means access for as long as 2BFT Academy operates. If we ever discontinue the platform, we will provide at least 90 days' notice and make reasonable efforts to provide downloadable versions of the curriculum. Lifetime access is personal and non-transferable.
4. Workshop Refund Terms
4.1 Visual Mastery Workshop (₹399) — Cancellation Policy
The Visual Mastery Workshop is a live session covering AI-powered visual content creation.
- Full refund: Available if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled session start time.
- No refund: If you cancel within 24 hours of the session, or if you do not attend (no-show), no refund will be issued.
- Session rescheduling: If we reschedule or cancel a session on our end, you will receive a full refund or the option to attend the rescheduled session at no extra charge.
- Technical issues on our end: If you are unable to attend due to a confirmed technical failure on the platform, we will offer a free pass to the next available session or a full refund.
To cancel and request a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line "Workshop Cancellation — Visual Mastery" at least 24 hours before the session.
4.2 Content Audit Workshop (₹1,999) — Cancellation Policy
The Content Audit Workshop is a live session covering AI-assisted content strategy and audit methodology.
- Full refund: Available if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time.
- No refund: If you cancel within 48 hours of the session, or if you do not attend (no-show), no refund will be issued. The 48-hour window is strictly enforced because preparation work for this workshop is personalized to registered attendees.
- Session rescheduling: If we reschedule or cancel a session on our end, you will receive a full refund or the option to attend the rescheduled session at no extra charge.
- Technical issues on our end: If you are unable to attend due to a confirmed technical failure on the platform, we will offer a free pass to the next available session or a full refund.
To cancel and request a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line "Workshop Cancellation — Content Audit" at least 48 hours before the session.
4.3 Recorded Workshop Replay Access
If a workshop recording is provided to registered attendees after the session, access to the recording is provided as a courtesy and is non-refundable once the recording has been accessed or the live session has taken place, regardless of whether you attended live.
5. Claude Code Setup Service (₹9,999) — Refund Terms
5.1 Service Description
The Claude Code Setup service (₹9,999) is a professional service where we configure Claude Code for your business environment. This involves consultation, setup, configuration, and testing tailored to your specific needs.
5.2 Before Work Begins — 50% Refund
If you cancel the Claude Code Setup service before we have begun any work, you are eligible for a 50% refund (₹4,999.50). The remaining 50% covers the time spent on initial consultation, planning, scheduling, and administrative overhead.
"Before work begins" means before we start any technical configuration, setup, or installation work. Initial discovery calls, requirement gathering conversations, and scheduling do not constitute "work beginning" for the purposes of this refund policy.
5.3 Once Work Begins — Non-Refundable
Once we have begun the technical setup and configuration work, the Claude Code Setup service fee is non-refundable. This is because:
- The service is labor-intensive and requires dedicated time from our team.
- The work is customized to your specific business environment and cannot be reused.
- Significant effort has already been invested once setup work begins.
We will clearly communicate when work is about to begin and give you a final opportunity to confirm or cancel before we start.
5.4 Service Scope Disputes
If you believe the delivered service does not meet the agreed-upon scope:
- Contact us within 7 days of service completion at [email protected].
- Describe the specific ways the delivered service differs from the agreed scope.
- We will review and, if we agree the scope was not met, either complete the remaining work at no additional cost or offer a partial refund proportional to the undelivered portion.
5.5 Service Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our Claude Code Setup service. If the setup does not function as expected due to an error on our part (not due to changes in your environment, third-party service changes, or factors outside our control), we will fix it at no additional cost within 30 days of service completion.
6. General Refund Conditions
6.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
- Your registered email address (the one used for your 2BFT Academy account)
- Product/service you are requesting a refund for (Monthly Plan, Lifetime Plan, Visual Mastery Workshop, Content Audit Workshop, or Claude Code Setup)
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request (optional but helps us improve)
- Order/transaction ID (if available)
6.2 Processing Time
Once we receive and approve your refund request:
- We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours (3 business days).
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of approval.
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method (the same card, UPI account, or bank account used for the purchase).
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process it.
6.3 Refund Method
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method, bank account, or to a third party. If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., closed bank account or expired card), please contact us and we will work with you to find an alternative solution.
6.4 Partial Refunds
In certain situations, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion. These situations include but are not limited to:
- Technical issues on our end that prevented you from accessing the service for a significant portion of your subscription period
- Service delivery that partially met the agreed scope (for Claude Code Setup)
- Extenuating circumstances evaluated on a case-by-case basis
6.5 Currency
All refunds are processed in Indian Rupees (₹). If your original payment was made through a currency conversion (for international users), the refund will be in INR and any exchange rate differences or conversion fees charged by your bank are your responsibility.
6.6 Taxes
If GST or other taxes were included in your original payment, the refund will include the proportionate tax amount. We will issue updated invoices/credit notes as required by Indian tax law.
7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
7.1 Platform Downtime
If 2BFT Academy experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end (not third-party services, force majeure, or scheduled maintenance), monthly plan subscribers affected during that period may request a pro-rata credit or extension of their subscription. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
7.2 Double Charges
If you are accidentally charged twice for the same product or service, contact us immediately. We will refund the duplicate charge within 48 hours of verification, regardless of any other refund policy terms.
7.3 Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe a charge from 2BFT Academy was unauthorized (i.e., someone used your payment information without your consent), contact us immediately at [email protected] and also contact your bank or payment provider. We will cooperate fully to investigate and resolve unauthorized charges.
7.4 Promotional or Discounted Purchases
If you purchased a plan at a promotional or discounted price, any refund will be for the amount actually paid, not the full retail price.
7.5 Free Trial Conversions
If we offer a free trial that converts to a paid subscription and you forget to cancel before the trial ends, contact us within 48 hours of the charge. If you have not accessed any Academy content after the trial-to-paid conversion, we will issue a full refund.
8. Abuse of Refund Policy
We reserve the right to refuse refund requests if we detect abuse of this policy. Examples of abuse include:
- Repeatedly subscribing and requesting refunds to access content for free
- Requesting a refund after downloading, copying, or extensively consuming Academy content
- Requesting a refund on the lifetime plan after receiving and using the Stashed tech bag
- Using chargebacks or payment disputes as a first resort instead of contacting us
- Providing false information in a refund request
If we suspect abuse, we may suspend or terminate your account and refuse future purchases. Chargeback fraud (filing a chargeback with your bank while continuing to use our services) is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in legal action.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first at [email protected] before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly.
If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.
- We will provide evidence of the transaction and your agreement to these terms to the payment processor.
- If the chargeback is resolved in our favour, your account may be permanently terminated.
We genuinely want to work things out directly — chargebacks are costly for small businesses like ours and are almost always unnecessary if you reach out to us first.
10. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to override or diminish your rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If any provision of this policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights shall prevail.
Under Indian consumer protection law, you may also have the right to file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission if you believe your consumer rights have been violated.

12. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- For material changes that reduce your refund rights, we will provide at least 15 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on the website.
- Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change takes effect — the refund terms in effect at the time of your purchase will apply.
